Night descended on a lit Christmas tree, with the edges of the forest just visible. This was the only tree Kevin and Laura had up the year she painted this, life was chaotic and the real thing did not get set up. Laura has been pleased with the forest edge on this painting, it reminds her of the woods of her childhood. Based on the work of another artist.
