Moon over the hills and trees, with a tall cliff and sparkling moonlit water below. Based on an elegant simplistic work by another artist, but changed greatly as Laura created the work.

This was not created to have a metaphorical meaning. One day, it just HAD one. Caught midst the cliffs, barren and trapped. A life flooded out, but the sparkle of it still shining through the water. Just one way to go. Can't go back to the life before, the only way is up. But if you fall, you don't fall back into the former life, you just fall on the rocks. Up above, a vague and uncertain promise of something more, if you can only get there. (This would be a more comfortable work for Laura if the life depicted were not HERS.)

Very detailed pencil work, the original has more detailed color, and the water below is more colorful and sparkly than you can see in the photo.
