The moment of truth demands a thing. This painting is an embarrassment on this website. Online, it is a Turd Painting. Yes, it is true. Laura painted rocks, that turned out as turds. She never intends this, it is just one of those distressing things that happens when she least expects it. But this... Not only are they Turds, they are Turd Faces. Every. Single. Rock.

Happily the original does not look nearly so messy. The rocks appear to be nothing more than rocks, unless you really study them, in which case the one on the lower right does seem to have a somewhat suspect face.

The original colors have more depth with more variety and less overall blue, and the painting is sharper and clearer than the photo shows. Blame the camera, it won't Photoshop out.
