Laura's husband guessed that this could be a flower, or alternately, a nova. It is definitely a bold decorative floral thingy. This abstract Impressionistic painting uses a textured Light Impasto method. The painting is vibrant and more alive than shown here, and the coloring is less choppy. Based on the work of another artist.

The original colors are strong and bold, with predominant blues, PURPLES, reds and greens. The blues on the edges have greenish tones, and the very corners are green. The camera ruined it, and I could not put the yellow channel back in.
